Now, if you are in Nagpur and thinking of buying a knife in the future must do so with caution! Reportedly, the Nagpur police will keep a record of those who have bought knives online. Yes, you read it right.

In order to keep a strict check on increasing crime, the police here have issued a letter to online marketing companies to provide details of those buying a knife or other pointed object to the cops. The order has been issued by the Nagpur Police Commissioner. The online companies delivering in Nagpur will have to give details of buyers on the official email id of the Crime Branch, the order states.

Two recent murders were reported in the city in the past two months in which sharp-edged or pointed objects were used in the crime. The police are still probing the cases and looking for an important clue to crack them. It is known that this could be the reason behind the order issued by the police.
