Railway will run special train from Kolhapur to Shirdi

PUNE: To provide better facilities to railway passengers, the Central Railways has announced a special train from Kolhapur to Shirdi. The train will run from September 27 to December 12 via Pune and Daund. Ticket booking for this train will start from September 25.

According to the Railways, train number 01409 special train will run from September 27 every Wednesday till December 11 from Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus, Kolhapur at 4.35 pm and will arrive at Shirdi at 5.55 am the next day. The train will reach Shirdi via Hatkanagle, Miraj, Sangli, Karad, Satara, Lonand, Pune, Daund, Ahmednagar, Belapur and Puntamba.

Similarly, train number 01410 special will run till December 12 from Shirdi every Thursday. The train will depart from Shirdi at 8.25 am and reach Kolhapur at 11.25 pm.

The train will have two AC 2 tier, three AC 3 tier, seven sleeper coach and eight general second class coaches including guards break van.
