Schools instructed to read Preamble daily from Jan 26 onwards

ST CORRESPONDENT

Pune: The State Government has asked all the schools to read the Preamble to the Constitution of India during the school assembly daily from this Republic Day. Earlier in 2013, the State Government had released a GR for the same but it was not implemented in all the schools.

The GR released by the State Government in this regard stated, “It is necessary that the values of the Constitution are imbibed on young minds and the best way to do that is through schools. Hence, all the primary and secondary schools must make it a point to read Preamble every morning.”
