Young prodigy: 14-year-old Maharashtra boy sets Guinness record in table tennis

A 14-year-old boy from Latur in Maharashtra created a record for the most alternate hits (9,512) using a table tennis paddle in just one hour

Latur: A 14-year-old boy hailed from Latur district in Maharashtra has set a Guinness World Record for the most alternate hits (9,512) using a table tennis paddle in just one hour.

The boy who goes with name P Harikrishna achieved this amazing feat on October 1 this year, defeating the previous record by more than a thousand more alternate hits, according to the official website of Guinness World Records.

The boy who studies in Class IX was felicitated by Raja Narayanlal Lahoti English School on December 20. P Harikrishna credited his parents and school for their support and motivation which helped him achieve the record. Harikrishna beat the previous record by more than a thousand more alternate hits.
