Pune: Buddhbhushan Pathare, a 24-year-old aspirant preparing for the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) exams in Pune, has been missing for the past three months. His disappearance has raised concerns among his family and friends.

Pathare, originally from Vaijapur Taluka in the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district, had been living in Pune for the last four years to prepare for the MPSC exams. He was residing with friends in a building near Ganjwe Chowk and studying at a library in Navi Peth.

In May, Pathare informed his parents that he had secured a job in the ministry. Excited by the news, his parents traveled to Mumbai to meet him, only to find his phone switched off upon their arrival.

Following this incident, Pathare's father filed a missing persons report at the Vishrambaug police station in Pune.

A few days ago, Pathare's parents received a WhatsApp message from his phone, in which he mentioned being in a state of depression. The police are investigating the case, exploring possibilities such as Pathare being in contact with someone, involvement in disputes, or financial transactions.

The authorities continue to search for Pathare, hoping for his safe return. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is urged to contact the Vishrambaug police station.
