Mumbai: India's cricket skipper Virat Kohli and popular Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma will tie the knot coming weekend. The wedding is happening in Italy.
This was kept a tight secret since last few months mainly to avoid the media at the venue.
Sources close to both the families said, “The families are leaving for Italy tomorrow (Thursday) from Delhi. There is a three-day event lined up for the traditional wedding. Only close relatives and family members are invited to the function.”
There is a Roka and Mehendi ceremony lined up in Italy.
Both the families are Punjabi so all the rituals of a Punjabi wedding will be followed. Virat’s mother Saroj, brother, sister, sister-in-law and brother-in-law along all the nephews will also be flying to Italy on the same flight.
Anushka’s parents and her brother will accompany her. It’s learnt that the wedding reception of this couple will be held in a five-star hotel in Juhu, Mumbai later. All cricket and Bollywood celebrities along with BCCI top brass and business fraternity and politicians will be invited there.
