Srinagar: One policeman was killed and another injured after terrorists attacked a joint party of Jammu & Kashmir Police and CRPF in south Kashmir's Pulwama district on Thursday afternoon, officials said.

According to details terrorists attacked the joint team of police and 182 bn of CRPF at Sirnou crossing in Pulwama resulting in the injuries to two security forces personnel of which one succumbed to his injuries.

Additional reinforcements have reached the spot. Police have cordoned off the area and an operation has been launched to nab the attackers.

This is the second terror attack in Kashmir in last two days. On Wednesday two BSF jawans were killed after terrorists fired at them and snatched their weapons in Srinagar.
