Mumbai: Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty tested negative for the novel coronavirus. This came after the Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the drugs probe linked to the death of the late actor.
After questioning for three days by the NCB, Rhea was arrested on Tuesday. On Tuesday, the actress confessed to the agency that she procured drugs and also consumed them sometimes. She was questioned by the agency for more than six hours on Tuesday. Escorted by female police personnel, Rhea was being taken to Sion hospital for a medical test.

Meanwhile, Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer, Satish Maneshinde in a statement said, "Travesty of Justice. Three central agencies hounding a single Woman just because she was in love with a drug addict and was suffering from mental health issues for several years under the care of five Leading Psychiatrists in Mumbai, who ended up committing suicide due to consumption of illegally administered medicines and used drugs."
