Who is Nitin Nabin?
Nitin Nabin was born on May 23, 1980, in Ranchi, Jharkhand. He is the son of the late Nabin Kishore Prasad Sinha, who served as a four-time MLA from Patna West and was a prominent BJP leader in Bihar. He is a member of the Chitraguptavanshi Kayastha community.
He finished his education at St Michael’s High School in Patna, graduating from Class 10 under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in 1996, and subsequently completed his intermediate studies at CSKM Public School in New Delhi in 1998.
Nabin began his political career in 2006 by winning a by-election for the Bihar Legislative Assembly from Patna West after his father's passing. When the constituency boundaries were redrawn, he moved to the Bankipur constituency, which he has represented consistently since 2010.
He held the position of Bihar state president for the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, subsequently advancing to national general secretary, with organizational duties in Sikkim and Chhattisgarh. He was instrumental in the BJP's campaign for the 2023 Chhattisgarh Assembly elections. In December 2025, he was named National Working President, setting him up for a leading organizational role.
