The complex is coming up on 8.65 acres, with more than 91,000 square meters of construction area. Designed with four wings rising up to 18 floors and three basements each, the building will house all municipal offices at one location. Citizens will find a service centre, multipurpose hall, e-governance hub, library, museum, and clinic within the same campus.

Planned as a green building, the headquarters is set to achieve both a Five-Star GRIHA rating and IGBC Platinum certification. Features such as solar power systems, water recycling, and landscaped green spaces aim to make the project both energy-efficient and environmentally sustainable.

The project is estimated to cost ₹312 crore and is being developed as a benchmark in modern civic infrastructure. Officials stress that special attention is being given to quality, safety, and timely completion of the work.

Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh said the new headquarters will not only improve administrative efficiency but also reflect Pimpri-Chinchwad’s commitment to sustainable development. Additional Commissioner Vijaykumar Khorate added that the building will make services faster, smoother, and more citizen-friendly once it becomes operational.
