Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor has purchased over 25.7 acres of agricultural land in Pune's Mulshi taluka for Rs 16.42 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by real estate data.
The acquisition comprises four adjoining agricultural land parcels in Pimpri village, Mulshi, spanning approximately 1,04,000 square metres. Purchased from Sriram Luthra, Naveen Sriram Luthra and Mala Umesh Mehta, the sale deeds were registered on April 30, 2026. The largest 43,800 sq m parcel was acquired for Rs 7.07 crore, while the remaining three were valued at Rs 4.62 crore, Rs 3.31 crore and Rs 1.39 crore, respectively.
According to the documents, the largest parcel, measuring 43,800 sq m, was purchased for Rs 7.08 crore, while the remaining three were acquired for Rs 4.62 crore, Rs 3.32 crore and Rs 1.40 crore, respectively. Kapoor paid approximately Rs 82.13 lakh in stamp duty across the transactions.
The purchase comes days after Kapoor's acquisition of a 2,134 sq ft plot in Ayodhya in May 2026 for approximately Rs 3.31 crore. During the same month, he also leased his apartment in Mumbai's Pali Hill for Rs 11 lakh per month under a five-year agreement.
Mulshi has witnessed increasing interest from high-net-worth individuals and celebrities in recent years, with buyers acquiring large land parcels for residential, leisure and long-term investment purposes due to the area's proximity to Pune and Mumbai.
