Areas including Wagholi, Kesanand, and Alandi Phata have been hit hardest, with large pools of water making travel difficult. Police personnel at Wagholi are working round the clock to manage traffic and prevent bottlenecks.

The Pune Municipal Corporation has recorded 40 millimeters of rainfall from 8:30 am yesterday to 8:30 am today. The civic authorities remain in regular contact with the irrigation department to monitor water levels and ensure proper drainage.

Hadapsar, particularly DP Road, has seen major water accumulation, adding to the city’s traffic woes. Residents are reporting delays, and authorities are advising drivers to be cautious while commuting through affected areas.

The DCP Traffic, Pune city, has urged citizens to check traffic conditions before traveling and use alternate routes wherever possible. Travel during peak hours from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm should be avoided, while off-peak hours from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm are recommended for smoother movement. Cooperation from all residents is essential to ensure safer traffic flow.
