Indian all-rounder Hardik and brother, Krunal Pandya’s father, Himanshu Pandya passed away on Saturday morning. He suffered a cardiac arrest at 71.

Hardik, who made his way home after a limited over series against Australia last month, was with his father at the time. Krunal, however, was away leading the Baroda team in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Trophy 2021. Baroda captain left the bio-bubble and made a hasty return.

The Indian all-rounder was not picked for the T20 tournament. Having suffered multiple back injuries, the cricketer has been treating his back with care.
