This next phase is set to take place in the third week of January 2026. Since the Tier I exam was conducted in various shifts, the commission has stated that the scores have been adjusted using the SSC's prescribed normalization method.

The SSC CGL Tier I exam for 2025 took place from September 12 to September 26 at various centers nationwide. A re-exam was conducted on October 14 for those candidates who encountered technical difficulties during their first attempt.
