Two Trainee Pilots Dead, Two Critically Injured in Car Accident on Baramati-Bhigwan Road

Four individuals, all trainee pilots, were traveling in a car from Baramati towards Bhigwan when the driver lost control of the vehicle near Lamjewadi.

Pune: A devastating car accident claimed the lives of two trainee pilots and left two others critically injured in the early hours of Monday (December 9). The incident occurred at around 3 AM on the Baramati-Bhigwan road near Lamjewadi village in Pune district.

According to Bhigwan police, four individuals, all trainee pilots, were traveling in a car from Baramati towards Bhigwan when the driver lost control of the vehicle near Lamjewadi. The car veered off the road and crashed, leading to a catastrophic accident.

Two of the passengers died on the spot. Preliminary information indicates that one of the deceased pilots hailed from Maharashtra, while the other was from Rajasthan.

The trainee pilots have been identified as Takshu Sharma (21) of Delhi, Aditya Kanase (21) from Mumbai, Krishna Singh (21) from Bihar, and Cheshta Bishnoi (21) from Rajasthan.

A female trainee pilot from Rajasthan sustained severe injuries, and another passenger is reported to be in critical condition.

The injured were immediately rushed to a private hospital in Bhigwan, where they are undergoing treatment.

While the exact cause of the accident is yet to be established, the severely damaged state of the car points to the intensity of the crash. Police have initiated an investigation to determine the sequence of events leading to the accident.
