Elon Musk has addressed Melinda French Gates' comments regarding the Epstein documents, which imply that her husband, Bill Gates, contracted an STD from 'Russian girls' and intended to secretly treat her. This follows the Department of Justice's release on Friday of the most extensive collection of Jeffrey Epstein files to date, comprising three million additional pages of documents, along with thousands of videos and images.
In a video, an NPR journalist questioned Melinda, saying, 'The emails in the documents imply that Bill Gates had more affairs and attempted to obtain medication for a sexually transmitted disease, intending to give it to you without your knowledge. His spokesperson has denied all these claims. You are not obligated to address the specifics of this alleged conduct, but I am curious about your primary emotion when you come across news articles containing these details.'
Melinda responded, "It's just an overwhelming sense of sadness. Once more, I can reflect on my own sorrow and think about those young girls, wondering how such things could have happened to them."
She expressed, "I ended my marriage. I was compelled to end my marriage. I desired to end my marriage. I sensed that I ultimately needed to depart from the foundation. It's simply unfortunate. That's the reality."
Musk posted a video of the discussion on X, commenting with a simple 'Wow'.
The Epstein documents and Bill Gates
The recently disclosed Epstein documents claim that Bill acquired sexually transmitted infections (STIs) following intimate interactions with 'Russian girls.' Epstein mentioned in emails that Bill approached him to arrange meetings with married women and to obtain medication for an STI contracted from 'sex with Russian girls.' The convicted sex offender further alleged that Bill intended to secretly provide that STI medication to Melinda.
To make matters worse, you then ask me to remove the emails about your STD, your request for antibiotics to secretly give to Melinda, and the description of your genitalia, as stated in one of Epstein's emails.
Melinda discussed the accusations in greater detail during an interview on NPR's Wild Card podcast.
Melinda expressed that it's particularly challenging for her when those details arise, as they remind her of extremely difficult periods in her marriage. She mentioned that any remaining questions are for those involved, including her ex-husband, to address, not her.
A representative for Bill Gates has refuted the accusations, stating to NPR, "These assertions are utterly ridiculous and entirely untrue. The documents merely reveal Epstein's annoyance over not having a continuous association with Gates and the extent he would go to ensnare and slander."
