114 passengers arrive at Pune airport, quarantined

PUNE: In all 114 Indians who returned to Pune from Dubai via SpiceJet flight SG 52 on Friday early morning, have been quarantined. However, a passenger complained of cough and was admitted to the Naidu Hospital.

According to officials, SpiceJet Dubai-Pune flight landed at the Pune International Airport at 4.04 am.

There were 115 passengers and all of them were screened. All had no health-related issues, except one passenger.

However, as per the government guidelines to quarantine people returning from abroad, all of them were taken to the Sarasbaug Sanas Complex, Swargate in five buses. They will be quarantined and observed before any further decision is taken.
