15 vehicles damaged in accident

PUNE: About 15 vehicles were damaged after oil was spilled on the 

Pune-Mumbai Expressway near Kamshet tunnel on Wednesday evening. The accidents led to a traffic jam for about an hour in the lane going towards Pune. Ramchandra Yashwant Khedekar of Uruli Kanchan was injured in the accident. 

According to the highway police, oil was spilling from a truck which was going from Mumbai towards Pune. A vehicle coming from behind skidded after a driver suddenly applied breaks. This led to a pile-up of about 15 vehicles. There was a traffic jam for about one hour. With the help of cranes, IRB officials moved the vehicles to a corner following which the flow of traffic became normal.
