Pune: An 18-year-old girl was molested and threatened on Monday by a teenager in Nigdi. A complaint in this regard was registered at the Nigdi police station.

The accused has been identified as Rajendra Pawar, 19, a resident of Oata Scheme in Nigdi.

According to the information provided by Nigdi police station, “On Monday, while the girl had gone to purchase ration, she was followed by Pawar. Pawar then stopped her near cremation ground at Oata scheme and molested her. After molesting the girl, he then threatened her with dire consequences in case she reveals about the incident to anyone.
