2 minor boys held for rape of 17-year-old

Pune: A 17-year-old girl was allegedly gangraped by two boys at Thakar Wasti village in Junnar taluka of Pune district on Thursday. 

The victim lodged a complaint in this regard with Junnar police station. The police detained the two minor boys for offences under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code and sections of POCSO Act. 

The police said the girl was alone at her house when the two boys barged in, gagged her and forcibly picked her and brought her to the house of one of the accused at 2 pm. 

They took turns to rape her. Later she informed her parents and lodged a complaint.
