Pune: Aditya Jaid (20), the son of a woman head constable attached to Nigdi police station, was murdered by his friends in Pimpri on Monday.

The incident came to light after Aditya was admitted to a private hospital in MIDC Bhosari. According to Senior Police Inspector Bhimrao Shingade of MIDC Bhosari police station, Aditya was admitted to the hospital on Monday afternoon. The person who got Aditya admitted fled from the spot.

“When we reached the spot we came to know that Aditya studies in a college in Pimpri and was assaulted there so we have routed the case to Pimpri police station,” added Shingade.

Officials of the Pimpri police station said they were in process of lodging a murder case. Aditya was a student of third-year BCom at Pratibha College in Chinchwad.
The police said his friends took him in a jeep and murdered him.
