201 stolen phones returned to owners

Pune: A total of 201 stolen mobile phones worth Rs 25 lakh were returned to their owners by Wakad police station, on Thursday. They were stolen in the last six months from Wakad area. 

A team led by Senior Police Inspector Satish Mane, PSI Harish Mane recovered the phones from the different parts of the State as well as other states. CP RK Padmanabhan handed over the phones to people.

Investigation team included Police Inspector Sunil Pinjan and policemen DD Sanas, Bapusaheb Dhumal, Bibshan Kanherkar, Nitin Dorje, Javed Pathan, Suresh Bhosle, Ramesh Gaikwad, Vikram Jagdale, Bhairoba Yadav, Shyam Baba, Vijay Gambhir, Vikram Kudal, Pramod Kadam, Nitin Gengje, Deepak Bhosale, Madhukar Chavan, Vikrant Chavan and Nutan Konde.
