20K students allotted colleges in CAP second round for FYJC

PUNE: Around 20,601 candidates have been allotted colleges in the second round of centralised admission process (CAP) for first year junior college (FYJC) in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad area. 

The second merit list of round II was declared on Monday at 6 pm.

A total of 32,097 applications were received in the second round of CAP for FYJC. Among allotted number of candidates, 6,738 candidates have received their first preference college. As many as 11,496 are yet to receive their college allotments.

The candidates will be able to take their admission to the respective colleges between June 23 from 11 am to 5 pm and July 25 from 11 am to 3 pm.

Deputy Director of Education Minakshi Raut stated that those students who have received their first choice college and fail to take admission there, will be blocked in the third round of CAP. For more details, students can check www.dydepune.com and pune.11thadmission.net.
