Pune: A 21-year-old youth died due to drowning in a swimming tank on Sunday evening at Taljai hill. The deceased was identified as Praful Wankhede who stayed in Dattawadi. 

As per information given by Sahakar Nagar police, the deceased had gone with his friends to swim in the tank on Sunday evening when the incident took place. 

The police are yet to find out the cause of drowning. The body of the deceased was taken for autopsy at Sassoon General Hospital on Sunday evening. Sahakar Nagar police are investigating the case.
