22-year-old drowns near Saswad

ST CORRESPONDENT

PUNE: A 22-year-old student drowned in a water body at Askarwadi near Saswad on Tuesday where he had gone for a picnic. He has been identified as Mahesh Shendge. 

According to the police, Shendge and his friends entered the water body and Shendge drowned. His friends tried to rescue him but in vain. 

The fire brigade and disaster management teams are trying to find him.
