22.86 pc students pass SSC supplementary examination

PUNE: About 22.86 per cent students passed in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) supplementary examination held in July 2019. 

The results were declared by the State Board on Friday. Over 2.21 lakh students in the State of Maharashtra passed the supplementary examination. 

The results were declared by Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) on Friday. 

A total of 2,21,629 had appeared for the exam, among them, 50,667 passed the Std X supplementary examination. The difference in pass percentage was merely 0.8 per cent lower than the previous year. Whereas, the Pune division result dropped by 5.61 per cent in supplementary exam.

Around 6,068 students have qualified out of 33,480 appeared students.

Around 1,18,161 students have failed in one or two subjects. 

These students have been eligible to take admissions under Allowed to Keep Terms (ATKT) category in Std XI.

Along with this, the students who haven’t qualified in this years supplementary examination can appear for improvement in their Secondary School Certificate examination of March 2020.
