2,384 take admissions after 2nd phase of FCFS

PUNE: At the end of the second phase for the Class XI admissions under the First Come First Served (FCFS) round meant for the students scoring from 60 to 100 per cent marks under online Centralised Admission Process (CAP), a total of 2,384 students took admissions in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad.

Up to the second phase, 2,710 candidates were allotted colleges. The rounds for the rest of the students will soon follow.

The students who have been allotted colleges in the earlier rounds but still haven’t been admitted including those who were allotted colleges of their first preference are eligible for this round. Also, the students who have not been allotted any college till special round 1, those who have cancelled the admissions, as well as those who have been rejected till the earlier round are able to take admissions in the FCFS round.

While the vacancy list for the students in the third category, that is 35 per cent and above, has been declared, the students will be able to take admissions till September 1. The overall vacancy list for the FCFS round 2 will be displayed on September 2.
