24-yr-old man killed in accident on BRTS route

PUNE: A 24-year-old man was killed in an accident on the BRTS route in Sangamwadi on September 22 night as his bike collided head on with a tempo. 

The deceased has been identified as Dhananjay Govind Waluj, a resident of Wetale in Khed taluka. 

Based on a complaint from his cousin, an FIR has been registered against the unidentified tempo driver. 

According to the police, the incident took place around 10.45 pm when Waluj was driving his bike towards Yerawada. 

A tempo coming from opposite direction collided with the bike. Waluj was not wearing a helmet. Later, he succumbed to his injuries. PSI MP Bhange is investigating the case.
