3 booked for cheating insurance company

Pune: Three employees of a chemical and fertiliser company have been booked by Pune city police for allegedly cheating an insurance company to the tune of Rs 23.18 lakh in mediclaim by submitting bogus bills. 

As per the FIR registered with Vimantal police station, the incident took place between 2012 and 2015. 

The accused persons have been identified as Amulya Agarwal of Mundhwa, Tarun Khadanira of Amanora Park Town and Manoj Band of Mundhwa. They have been charged for offences under sections 406 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), 465 (forgery) etc., of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
