Admissions for tech courses resume

ST CORRESPONDENT

PUNE: After a temporary halt, admissions to professional courses - engineering and architecture have resumed with a fresh online registration process for academic year 2019-202 from Monday.

The candidates are required to apply online on fe2019.mahacet.org again.

The Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) had cancelled the admission process due to technical glitches that hindered the process last week. However, the State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has released a revised schedule for starting the registration and document verification process.

The admission process has begun for first year of full time engineering and technology programme (BE/BTech) and five year full time architecture programme (BArch) in the government, government aided, university-managed institutes and departments and unaided private professional educational institutes.

The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell  has informed that candidates who have registered on SAAR portal have to register in the new system as a fresh candidate for respective course separately. Application fees paid by the candidates in the old system will be refunded within two weeks and pay application fees as applicable in the new system, stated the State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell .
