Around 10,792 students take admissions over two days

Pune: Within two days of the declaration of the second merit list under the online Centralised Admission Process (CAP), as many as 10,792 students have taken admissions to Std XI at the higher secondary schools and colleges in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad, by Saturday, July 21.

A total of 25,676 students were allotted colleges in the second merit list. Out of these, 8,552 received the colleges of their first preference. It was mandatory for these students to take admission in the second round itself. The rest can wait for the third merit list which would be declared on Thursday, July 26.

The data about vacant seats and college cut-offs would be declared on the website on Monday, July 23, and the students will be able to make changes to their preference lists on July 23 and 24. After the first round of admissions, 21,122 students took admissions for Std XI in the city.
