Boy detained for stealing laptops

Pune: A minor has been detained by the Bharati Vidyapeeth police for allegedly stealing mobile phones and laptops, as he wanted money to watch new movies.

The police claimed to have recovered two laptops and 10 phones, totally worth Rs 1.72 lakh, from his possession on Monday. Acting on information received by policeman Samir Bagsiraj, cops detained the boy near Trimurti Chowk in Katraj.

Investigations revealed that he had come to sell stolen laptops and phones.  Police Sub-Inspector Shivdas Gaikwad is investigating the case.
