BSCOER holds event to appreciate successful engineers

Pune: TSSM’s Bhivarabai Sawant College of Engineering and Research (BSCOER) had recently organised an event for appreciation of successful engineers, prize distribution of intercollegiate competitions and industry institute interaction (III) at their Narhe Campus. 

Nandkumar Sutar, Executive Editor of Sakal Media Group, was present as the chief guest, along with the guest of honour Hareshwar Potdar, Regional Transport Officer at Vashi, Navi Mumbai. 

Anil Bhosale, Director of JSPM, SR Thite, Director of JSPM/TSSM, DS Bilgi, Principal of BSCOER, GA Hinge, Vice-Principal of BSCOER, Manojkumar Dalvi, head of mechanical department at BSCOER and GR Padamwar, event coordinator were also present.

A booklet of engineers, including entrepreneurs, practising engineers working in reputed organisations and scientists with their success stories, was inaugurated during the event by the chief guest. It was followed by prize distribution of various intercollegiate technical events, organised and conducted by Mechanical Engineering Student Association (MESA), on the occasion of engineers day.

Sutar said, “It is an important aspect to have vibrant and continuous industry institute interaction to change the 
current scenario.” 

Potdar motivated students about to take up opportunities in the government sector and explained how the life can be changed through the efforts made during graduation. Bhosale also shared his work experience and expressed the importance of industry experts in academics.
