PUNE: The Railways has decided to run 18 special trains between Chennai Central and Ahmedabad via Pune to clear the extra rush of passengers this season.
The train will run from August 3 to September 30.
As per the details shared by the Railways, train number 06501 Chennai Central-Ahmedabad Special train will leave Chennai Central at 8.10 pm every Saturday from August 3 to September 28 and arrive at Ahmedabad at 5.45 am on Monday.
Similarly, train number 06052 Ahmedabad-Chennai Central Special train will leave Ahmedabad at 9.40 am every Monday from August 5 to September 30 and arrive Chennai at 5.10 pm the next day. The train will make 9-9 trips on each side.
Only the train (06052) will halt at Perambur, except for that both trains will halt at Arakkonam, Renigunta, Konduru, Razampeta, Cuddapah, Yerraguntla, Tadipatri, Gooty, Guntakal, Adoni, Mantralayam Road, Raichur, Yadgir, Wadi, Solapur, Pune, Lonavla, Panvel, Vasai Road, Boisar, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Anand and Nadiad.
The trains will have the composition of one AC 2 tier, four AC 3 tier, 12 sleeper class and 2 SLR.
CANCELLATION OF TRAINS
Because of ongoing work on non-interlocking between the Jaipur Division of North Western Railway, the train number 82653 Yesvantpur-Jaipur will be cancelled between Jaipur and Ajmer on August 15 and 22. So the train will run between Yeshwantpur and Ajmer. Similarly, train number 82654 Jaipur-Yeshwantpur will run from Ajmer to Yeshwantpur due to cancellation of this train between Jaipur and Ajmer.
SPECIAL TRAINS
The Railways has decided to extend periodicity of weekly special trains between Pune and Jabalpur to clear the extra rush. Train number 01655 Weekly Special will leave Pune at 7.45 am every Tuesday from August 6 to October 1 and will arrive Jabalpur at 5 am the next day. Similarly, train number 01656 Weekly Special will leave Jabalpur at 7.45 am every Monday from August 5 to September 30 and arrive Pune at 4.05 am the next day.
