Children raise their voices in favour of Jadhav

Mahima

Pune: Demanding the release of former naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav, young children of Bal Tarun Mandal condemned the Pakistan government on Republic Day near Dashbuja Ganpati temple, Karve Road.

The children aged between 10-12, dressed as Mahatma Gandhi, Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Army officers, raised slogans like Pakistan Murdabad. The aim behind it was to raise the issue with Pakistan government,” said Akash Mhokar, head manager of the mandal.

Mhokar said, “We are raising our voices against the Pakistan Government as Jadhav’s mother and his wife are facing many difficulties in Pakistan. Being in another country, we should understand their pain. People are not ready to say anything on this issue and that is the reason we have taken some initiative in favour of him”.

The children felt that it was their duty to rescue him as Jadhav was our naval officer and thus they participated in this initiative to condemned and criticise the Pakistan government,” added Mhokar.
