CISF participates in a blood donation camp

Pune: A blood donation camp, conducted by Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) deputed at Pune airport, in association with the Rotary club, evoked a good response on Friday. As many as 71 CISF personnel donated blood and declared that they would participate in blood donation drives on regular basis to save lives. 

CISF unit is observing security week from March 3 to 10. Satish K Bajpayee, Deputy Commandant, CISF, Pune airport, said, “The misconceptions that blood donation affects the health of a person needs to be removed from the minds of people and they need to be encouraged to give blood regularly.”
