ST CORRESPONDENT

Pune: City Pride School's new council ministers were sworn in during the investiture ceremony this week.

The 37 elected members were symbolically handed over the power and responsibilities by old council members, which followed the oath taking and speeches by the Head Boy, Head Girl and Member Secretary.

The council ministers were awarded badges and waistcoats by Directors Dr Ashwini Kulkarni and Dr Deepali Sawai, along with Principal Maya Sawant and Headmistress Padma Jose.

The ex-ministers also shared their experiences and gave best wishes to the new members for the journey ahead.

Three of the school's techno wizards, Ved Khandekar, Shrirang Pund and Anish Deshpande were also felicitated on the occasion for the software they developed, enabling the school to experience electronic voting this year.

The software generated the results immediately, making it a reliable and smooth voting process.
