PUNE: In a miraculous escape, a man driving a car escaped death after the vehicle was crushed between two trucks on the busy Pune-Satara highway on Warje Malwadi flyover on Friday morning. 

As per information shared by the Warje police, the car had stopped behind a stationary truck and was rammed by a truck from behind. The truck driver had lost control and rammed into the car. 

The car driver was fortunate as the airbags opened in time, which saved his life. The car was on its way to Katraj from Chandni Chowk at 11.30 am. 

The accident had led to traffic chaos, which was later cleared by traffic police. 

Eyewitnesses present on the spot said that people who saw the accident were busy filming the accident on their phones rather than helping the car driver who called for help. 

The driver was later rushed to a local hospital.
