CM to inaugurate Pimpri-Chinchwad commissionerate

Pune: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on his Pune visit will inaugurate the Pimpri-Chinchwad police commissionerate on Wednesday, which is among his long list of programmes. 

Though the commissionerate started functioning from August 15, 2018, the formal inauguration is yet to happen. 

It was functioning from a temporary office at the Auto Cluster, Chinchwad, and has now moved to its permanent location in Prem Lok Park Colony region of  Chinchwad. 

The Pimpri-Chinchwad police commissionerate has been carved out of jurisdictions of Pune city and rural police areas.
