CMD of PMPML receives threat

Pune: PMPML Chairman and Managing Director Tukaram Mundhe received a threat letter from a person hailing from Katraj. 

Following the threat letter, a complaint was lodged at Swargate police station. Police Inspector (Crime) M Pandit said, “We have lodged a case under the non-cognisable offense. The threat letter blames Mundhe for increasing the PMPML bus fare for senior citizens to Rs 450. The letter also states that the CMD is acting as per will,” added Pandit.

Swargate police suspect the letter is sent by fake names and have started investigation. PMPML spokesperson confirmed about receiving the threat letter.
