CSI’s Award of Recognition to Pune police for ‘Third I’ proj

PUNE: The Pune city police have received ‘Award of Recognition’ from the Computer Society of India (CSI) for their project ‘Third I – Enhancing Policing, Preventing Crimes through Digital Technologies’. 

The CSI SIG E-Governance Awards 2018-19 were held for projects under different categories. 

The certificates were awarded during a ceremony in Bhubaneshwar, Odisha, on January 17.

With the help of Adivid Technologies Pvt Ltd, Commissioner of Police Dr K Venkatesham has started the ‘Third I’ project which helps in analysis of various crimes as well as understand the modus operandi of criminals. 

All police inspectors and detection branch staff of police stations have been given access to this online system to feed details of the crimes.
