DCB member shot at, survives

Pune: A member of Dehu Road Cantonment Board (DCB), who was its former Vice President had a narrow escape after he was attacked by two unidentified persons in Dehu Road Camp area, on Thursday evening. 

According to Dehu Road police, Vishal Khandelwal, whose office is in Camp area of Dehu Road, was on his way home when the incident took place.

While Vishal was talking on the phone near his office, the two assailants came on a two-wheeler and pulled out a pistol and tried to shoot Vishal but it misfired.

Vishal managed to escape from the spot, however, he got hurt on his leg.

Vishal was rushed to a nearby hospital after the incident.
