Dnyan Devi held workshop on internet habits

Pune: Dnyana Devi- Childline Pune has organised a workshop for parents and teachers to create awareness about the increasing Internet addiction among children.

The workshop will be held on September 16 at Savarkar Bhavan, Karve Road between 9.30 am and 6 pm. Child psychologist Dr Bhooshan Shukla, Dr Mukta Puntambekar of Muktangan, Cyber crime expert Dr Anuradha Sahasrabudhe of Childline will guide the participants. 

The growing threat of Internet-related games such as Blue Whale, porn addictions in children and other dangers are reaching alarming proportions. Childline is dealing with such cases regularly. 

The workshop is a part of the organisation’s campaign against the addiction.

The workshop will conclude with the play ‘Shout’ by Akakanksha Rangabhoomi based on true stories of affected/abused children.
