Pune: In a shocking incident a doctor who fell unconcious and rammed his vehicle into another vehicle was assaulted by a group of people who thought he was drunk. The incident occurred near Dange Chowk on Thursday.

The victim who runs a nursing home near Thergaon-Dange Chowk was on his way to visit his patients at another hospital on Thursday.While he was driving his vehicle he suddenly suffered an eplileptic fit and rammed into another vehicle.

While the doctor was in an unconscious state, the commuter in the other vehicle assaulted him thinking that he was under the influence of alcohol.

The doctor is presently admitted in the intensive care unit of a private hospital.
