First Metro Samvad organised for today

Pimpri: Taking cognisance of popular demand, Mahametro officials finally agreed to organise the First Metro Samvad in the industrial township on Saturday. The programme will be organised at around 11.30 at Savarkar Sadan in Nigdi. People of Pimpri-Chinchwad will get detailed information about metro routes in Pimpri-Chinchwad. Metro officials will clarify the doubts of citizens as well.

Officials are going to brief people about the corridors, distance, routes and location-wise station specific information. Features of Pune Metro as well as green initiatives taken by Mahametro will also be discussed. Metro officials will answer questions raised by citizens in a question-answer session.

Ramnath Subramanium, Executive Director of Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation, Vivek Gadgil, former Managing Director and Chief Executive of L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad Ltd, and Sashikant Limaye, Advisory Committee member of Mahametro, will address the session. Pimpri-Chinchwad Citizens’ Forum has taken the initiative for co-coordinating Metro Samvad in Pimpri-Chinchwad.

The forum has appealed to people to attend the programme so that all doubts can be cleared.
