Pune: Two persons sustained minor injuries, while five vehicles were damaged, in an unusual accident near Khadi Machine Chowk on Katraj-Kondhwa Road on Tuesday. The accident led to a traffic jam for about half an hour.

According to the police,  the incident took place around 11 am. A container truck carrying steel collided head-on with a car. Four other cars speeding in the same direction piled up as the drivers could not control the speed. 

A local crane operator was called to remove the vehicles from the spot.
