Five-yr-old girl missing from Pune railway stn premise

PUNE: A five-year-old girl, who was playing near Pune railway station on Monday evening, went missing from the station premise. A case of kidnapping has been lodged by officials of Government Railway Police on Tuesday.

As per information given by Police Inspector Manoj Khandale of GRP, Pune station, the 28-year-old father of the girl, who is a labourer, was in search of a job and had come to Pune on Monday.

“The family of four, which includes the missing girl’s parents and her seven-year-old elder brother, hail from Nagpur. The girl’s father was in Pune to search for a job. The girl was playing with her brother when suddenly she went missing. Her parents tried to search her along with police officials near the Pune station, Sassoon General Hospital and other areas but she was not spotted,” added Khandale.

Police officials are trying to look for leads through CCTV footages of the premises.”Our teams are working to look for the girl,” added Khandale. 

The girl was wearing a green salwar along with a silver nose ring and yellow earrings.
