Four girls rescued from lodge in Lohegaon

PUNE: The Social Security Cell of the Pune police rescued four girls and arrested two human traffickers from a lodge in Lohegaon during a raid on Friday.  

The police have booked four persons, Deepak alias Deependra Prasad (27), Manoj Dohare (29), Bheemrao Dohare (20), all residents of Bhind in Madhya Pradesh, and Dagdu Khandve, a resident of Lohegaon and owner of the lodge. The police have arrested lodge managers Manoj and Bheemrao Dohre.

All four accused were involved in running a prostitution racket at Torna Lodge on Porwal Road in Lohegaon. Two of the rescued girls were from West Bengal and the other two were from Maharashtra. All rescued victims were sent to Rescue Foundation in Mohammadwadi.
