HC grants bail to Dhananjay Desai in Mohsin Shaikh case

PUNE: The Bombay High Court on Thursday granted bail to Hindu Rashtra Sena President Dhananjay Desai in connection with the Mohsin Shaikh murder case, said his advocate Milind Pawar.

He said Desai was granted bail on surety of Rs 50,000 and has been ordered to submit affidavit he will not make any inflammatory speech.

Desai was arrested by the Pune police in June 2014 for alleged involvement in a conspiracy which led to the murder of 28-year-old Mohsin Shaikh, who was murdered by a mob on June 2, 2014 in Hadapsar.
