Head constable caught accepting Rs 50K bribe

Pune: A head constable of Pune rural police was caught taking a bribe of Rs 50,000 from a man for not making him accused in a case. The policeman had offered to make him a witness.

Dattatray Vishnu Hole (53) was arrested by the sleuths from the anti-corruption bureau (ACB) on Saturday at Shikrapur police station, where he is posted. He had allegedly demanded Rs one lakh.
